This Limited edition Giclée print of the Icelandic town of Skagastrond was my interpretation of the northern lights . I saw this incredible natural display of colour in the early hours one February morning during my stay at NES ArtIsts residency earlier this year.
The print available is 56cm x 38cm wide including a white border.
This painting was created whilst on an Artists residency at Nes which sits between the mountains and Sea on the northern tip of the Skagastrond peninsula. I spent a month there painting in the studio and drawing inspiration from my incredible surroundings.
